This beautiful coffee hails from the family run farm of Gerardo Trejo. Situated in the volcanic Santa Barbara mountain range, his farm thrives in a micro climate perfect for a bountiful crop. Overall production of coffee was down by 50% in Honduras due to frost. We feel lucky to be able to get our mitts on coffee from this region at all, let alone one so tasty!
We taste: dried apricots – deep, like fruit leather. Tart cherries. Followed by a buttery, smooth mouthfeel. Lovely…simply, lovely.
