Hop-Infused Ethiopia•Halo Beriti

5.00

Grown on fertile land gifted from Emperor Haile Selassie to Muluemebet Emiru, the first African female pilot in the 1940's. This fully washed coffee was grown by various small holder producers in the Gedeo Zone region between 1,800 - 2,000 meters above sea level. Washed coffees in this region were hard to come by this season due to an uprising, which the people participated in against "foreign-tribal owned enterprises," that destroyed more than 30 washing stations. Also, for the first time since the 1950's, frost damaged several thousand hectares of coffee for many in the Gedeo Zone.

Halo Beriti is sweet and smooth, and those characteristics pair well with our special hops blend. Hold on to your shorts, coffee and beer lovers alike! And before you ask... noooo, there's no alcohol... just the perfect marriage of juicy coffee sweetness and the hoppy happiness of whole cone hops!
