The Ngurueri washing station, in the region of Embu, is producing some of the best coffees in Kenya. Made up of over 1,000 members, these farmers are paid a premium price for their efforts, sometimes double what they normally would earn.
This coffee, when brewed as a cold brew, has a syrupy body. There’s a sweet cola-like explosion on the pallet with lingering spices in the finish. Notes of brown sugar bring it all together and keep you wanting more!
